District Superintendent of Police Bachhu Singh Meena said that the incident took place when two persons were fleeing after kidnapping Kanchan Kumar, 15-year-old son of jeweller Brigesh Kumar. However, angry villagers chased the duo and overpowered them. The villagers beat up the youths so badly that both of them died on the spot. The mob also burnt the motorcycle on which the duo was fleeing.
